CTX, a global voluntary carbon platform, has announced a partnership with SASA ENVIRO, an Indian environmental and agricultural solutions provider, to create the world’s first voluntary carbon exchange. As a National Master Licensee, SASA ENVIRO will operate a White Label version of the CTX platform, which will be Indian-operated, owned, and branded, providing Indian buyers—corporations, brokers, and institutions—immediate access to hundreds of projects worldwide.

This partnership will allow millions of credits listed on CTX across many nations to be cleared and settled in India on the T+0 basis.

Wayne Sharpe, CEO and founder of the CTX and Global Environmental Markets (GEM) group, believes that this partnership marks the beginning of the future that India envisaged from the Paris Agreement in 2015.

SASA Enviro CEO Suresh Jadhav, who also co-founded the Tree Ambulance Foundation with his business partner Dr. Abdul Ghani, better known as ‘The Green Man of India,’ is proud of the partnership with CTX and sees it as a step towards UNFCCC COP28 in Dubai.

He expects an outstanding response from buyers, projects, communities, and governments and plans to expand the CTX India Business Development team rapidly after training by CTX Global in December.
