The World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance is enthusiastic about the collaboration with UN Tourism. Together, they believe they can develop a powerful tool to help the hospitality sector accurately measure and improve its environmental and social performance.
The new framework builds on the Statistical Framework for Measuring the Sustainability of Tourism, already endorsed by all 193 UN member states. It will also align with the Alliance’s Net Positive Hospitality Pathway, which focuses on harmonising metrics and key performance indicators within the hospitality industry.
