Pacific Mall Dehradun announced the launch of its third annual environmental initiative, Plant Your Bill 3.0. The campaign runs from June 29 to August 11, 2024, and aims to plant 10,000 trees in the Dehradun region.
Building on the success of previous years, where over 8,000 trees were planted, Plant Your Bill 3.0 encourages customers to contribute to a greener Dehradun. Customers who spend Rs 3,000 or more at the mall will receive a lychee tree sapling. Lychee trees are symbolic of Dehradun's greenery.
"We aim to make a positive impact on the environment and promote eco-conscious behavior," said Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group. "We invite everyone to join us in restoring the city's natural heritage."
The campaign includes children's activities like clay modelling and workshops on hanging gardens and pottery making. Additionally, local schools will present skits on environmental conservation, and environmental experts will share insights on preserving Dehradun's lychee orchards. Plant Your Bill 3.0 aims to revive these green spaces with public participation.
