Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Tuesday that it has secured an additional ultra-mega offshore project in the Middle East, valued at over Rs 15,000 crore. The company has categorised projects with a value exceeding Rs 15,000 crore as "ultra mega."
L&T's Hydrocarbon Business, known as L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), has received a Letter of Intent for this new ultra-mega onshore project from a prestigious Middle Eastern client. This follows a recent Ultra-Mega project award for a gas compression plant.
The project's scope of work includes procurement and construction for a gas processing plant, which encompasses inlet separation facilities and a booster compression system, among other components. These will be integrated into new onshore facilities and existing gas processing plants.
