Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta group company, announced a partnership with Inland EV Green Services for the deployment of 10 electric vehicle trucks. The initiative is aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting cleaner transportation methods.
Designed for the inter-operational transport of concentrates, these environmentally friendly trucks underscore the company's commitment to green and sustainable practises. According to the company, these trucks have a charging capacity that allows them to go from 20 to 100 percent in just 90 minutes.
Hindustan Zinc CEO Arun Misra stated, "Our collaboration with Inland EV Green Services Pvt Ltd represents a significant step forward in our decarbonisation journey."
