Godrej & Boyce, the flagship of the Godrej Group, has outlined its transformative sustainability goals for 2032, committed to garnering 50 percent of revenues from its Good & Green product portfolio.

Jamshyd N. Godrej, the Chairman and Managing Director of Godrej & Boyce, underscored the considerable economic potential embedded in sustainability. He conveyed that the vision extends beyond mere growth and is oriented to sustainable progress in tandem with the planet.

This vision hinges on collaborations across all levels. The company is set to propel towards a completely green supply chain, enhance skilling programmes for heightened employability, and strive to generate at least half of its revenues from Good & Green products.

The company's Good & Green products are centred around environmental and social parameters. The focus is on achieving resource efficiency, curbing carbon emissions, and aligning with Sustainable Development Goals. The company claims notable milestones, including over one-third of revenues from sustainable practises, 600 green buildings, and CII-GreenCo certification for most factories, with seven achieving 'Platinum' status.

The forthcoming decade's targets include a 60 percent surge in energy productivity, a 60 percent reduction in carbon intensity, a 40 percent share of renewable energy, 100 percent net-zero buildings, and 80 percent domestic procurement from green suppliers. These goals mirror the company's commitment to economic opportunity and national advancement.
