Gurugram-based venture capital firm FAAD Capital has announced a strategic investment of $121,000 in four promising agritech startups as part of their AgriManch accelerator programme. The pre-seed funding round aims to bolster initiatives at Godaam Innovations, VedaFit Foods, Aqin Biotech, and Mkelly Biotech, each poised to disrupt the agriculture sector.

Among the recipients, Godaam Innovations has already secured $180,000 in external funding. This financial injection is geared towards empowering these startups in their missions to revolutionise agriculture practices.

Godaam Innovations specialises in smart storage solutions to minimise post-harvest losses and optimise supply chain efficiency. Aqin Biotech introduces a patented feed that enhances animal survival rates by 20–25 percent and reduces mortality by 60–70 percent. Mkelly Biotech enriches flour with a premix powder containing millets and mushrooms, while VedaFit Foods offers genuinely healthy, natural food products.

Vatsal Lunawat, from FAAD Capital's Investments Team, expressed, "Securing funds through AgriManch for these diverse agritech startups across agri fintech, horticulture, mushrooms, and aqua feed has been a fulfilling journey. We're excited to showcase their potential to industry stakeholders and support the next wave of agricultural technology in India."

Beyond financial backing, FAAD Capital will provide post-funding support, including crucial connections to accelerate revenue generation and foster networks within the agriculture sector to optimise their go-to-market strategies.

Aditya Arora, CEO of FAAD Capital, emphasised, "Our investment is more than just financial; it's about equipping these startups with the resources and networks they need to thrive in the dynamic agriculture sector. Each of these innovative companies is poised to drive sustainability and technological advancement. At FAAD Capital, we're committed to empowering the next generation of agritech leaders and are thrilled to be part of their journey in transforming agriculture's future."
