EKI Energy Services Ltd. and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) have partnered to promote a sustainable indoor solar cooking system called "Surya Nutan." This collaboration aims to advance clean energy with a stationary, rechargeable, always kitchen-connected indoor cooking solution based on Indian Oil’s patented technology.
Indian Oil, India's flagship Maharatna oil company, is committed to going net zero by 2046 and is diversifying its portfolio to include alternative energy sources. They have developed "Surya Nutan" to promote sustainable energy solutions for communities.
Under the partnership, Indian Oil will share the "Surya Nutan" technology with EKI to enhance its production and distribution, while EKI will oversee the end-to-end management of 'Surya Nutan.' This includes manufacturing, marketing, installation, and after-sales services, which will be achieved by leveraging carbon finance, corporate social responsibility, or other similar means.
