The United States Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, mentioned on July 16th that his visit to Adani Group's Khavda Renewal Energy Facility in Gujarat was an enlightening experience, showcasing how the company is aiding India in achieving its zero-emissions objectives.
The Adani Group is in the process of developing a massive renewable energy project spanning 30,000 MW on barren land in Khavda, Kutch, Gujarat. It covers an area of 538 square kilometres, is five times the size of Paris, and is nearly as large as Mumbai.
After visiting the Khavda Renewal Energy Facility in Gujarat, Garcetti shared on social media, "I was inspired by my visit to the Khavda Renewal Energy Facility in Gujarat, where I learned about the innovative projects contributing to India's zero-emissions goals." He emphasised that sustainable energy plays a crucial role in environmental conservation. "Our bilateral partnership is instrumental in shaping solutions for a cleaner and greener future for the region and the world," Garcetti remarked.
